The seven primary teachersnamely Ms. MeenaKumari, Ms.Shanthi.N., Ms. D.S.Nagavalli, Ms.GeethaChavan, Ms.MalikaDuraiBalkis and M.Thejeswiniwho were deputed for CPPDPT WORKSHOP have successfully cleared the exam held in June scoring V.Good percentage.
EVENTS GALORE.
MINI- SPORTS was held on 27-11-15. Individual events were held in our school.About 200 children from 4 different KV’S participated.
Bal- divas CCA was held on 10-11-16. 48 primary children participated and won prizes.
Cubs and Bul-bulUtsav was held in our school on 21-11-2015 in a systematic and befitting manner.
Our school won I prize in Kho-Kho (Boys) III prize in Kho-Kho (Girls)
I prize in Tennis Ball Throw(Girls) III prize in Tennis Ball Throw(Boys)
in F group. Class-III.
In E group, we won I prize in 100 mts running race, III in Tennis Ball Throw, III in 80 m race, II in Chess.
Science exhibition for primary classes was held on 10-11-2015. Children from classes I to V presented their projects with the guidance of Science teachers.
Club activities are taken up by children under the guidance of teachers to go beyond text book to enhance their knowledge.
Grand parents day was held in our school on 9-10-15 on a grand scale.
Students from classes III to V went on a picnic to Tulip-Resorts on 19-1-16.
Our primary section was given “OUTSTANDING” for CMP implementation in in the Annual Panel Inspection
* Innovative Practices:-
Novel way of Remedial teaching taken up by Ms. Surekha.
Case study of a special child taken up by Ms. GeethaChavan.
Silent exercises to reduce Noise-Pollution and increase concentration is being practiced by
Ms.D.S. Nagavalli.
Poetry writing skills are being introduced and encouraged by Ms.MalikaDuraiBalkis
And Ms. PushpaManjunath.
Teacher exchange programmes are planned to break the monotony and to enrich the learning experiences.
Many primary children are participating in the CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES competitions and online Avishkar Quiz which has given them global exposure.
A number of children took part in inter school Spell-bee and Abacus competitions and have procured
many prizes.
As a part of Saturday schedule’ school level workshops for TLM preparation, Demo classes, strategies to
help slow bloomers, library resources like Teacher plus and progressive teacher are explored.
Now in the II term, primary teachers are mainly focussing on Slow bloomers by giving them graded worksheets and strengthening their basic-skills.
APRIL-MAY2016
COMMUNITY LUNCH:- Month-wise activities prepared.. In April month, Menu given is “ Vegetable Salad” . On 18th April, children brought variety of dishes prepared from raw vegetables like tomato, cucumber, onion, green gram/ dal , shared with friends and teachers and enjoyed the day. Teachers briefed about the importance of eating raw food and the health value. It not only created awareness but also came as a relief to beat the extreme summer heat .

CCA(Co-curricular Activity) The following competitions were held .
Greeting card making competition was held on 24/6/2016for classes 1 to 5.
Clay modelling competition was held on 1 /7/2016for classes 1 and 2.
Mask making competition was held on 1 /7/2016 for classes 3 to 5.
Englishcalligraphy competition was held on 8 /7/2016 for classes 1 and 2.
Hindi calligraphy competition was held on 8 /7/2016 for classes 3 to 5.
Drawing and Colouring competition was held on 15/7/2016 for classes 1to 5
with specific topics for each class.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS;-
1.Ms. U.D.Surekha. PRT escorted Guides students for RAJYAPURASKAR training camp at KV DRDO, Bangalore from 9/7/2016 to 11/7/2016.
2.Ms. Shantini, PRT acted as official to conduct RAJYAPURASKAR testing camp held at
KV IISC . Bangalore from 12/7/2016 to 16/7 / 2016.
3.Ms.MalikeDuraiBalkis is sponsored to attend Hindi workshop at ZIET. Mysore.
4. As part of Saturday schedule, all the PRT’S are learning simple Yoga exercises from
Mr. Anniah, Yoga teacher of our school to keep fit and cheerful—Sound mind in a sound
body!
5. A meditation camp was organized for our teachers from 23/6/16 to 26/6/16 by
after 2.40. It was a welcoming , refreshing and relaxation session for teachers.
