Introduction

Located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula in Cooper Landing, and nestled among 43 acres on the banks of the KenaiRiver, the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge offers all the luxuries of a small resort in a relaxing wilderness setting. This peninsula, renowned as a sportsman's and scenic paradise, offers a spectacular setting amid fabulous mountain and river views. Optional activities include nature hikes, sportfishing, river rafting, flightseeing and sightseeing day cruises to the KenaiFjordsNational Park.

Dine on delicious Alaskan cuisine while enjoying mountain views. Be on the lookout for majestic Eagles for which the Dining Room is named.

Building History

Construction began summer 1989 and the lodge opened in May 1990. Additional rooms and facilities were completed summer 1991. A ten room expansion was completed in July 1994 at a total cost of $7.6 million. A second ten room expansion was completed in May 1995. Conference room space expansion was completed in spring 1996. A third expansion of 16 additional guest rooms was completed in September 1999.
