elcome to the exciting world of2nd grade. It is apleasure to have your child in my class. I need you to check your child’s folder daily and assist him/her with their homework. Everything I send home is important! I need 100% attendance daily. School is very important and in order to receive effective instruction everyone must be present. If your child is out of school sick please send in an excuse within three days of his/her return.If I send home comprehension passages, listen to your child read, record errors, and make flashcards for missed words. Flash your child periodically with those missed words. Also, adding and subtracting fluently is another issue.   • Thursday- Practice Test/Read for 15 minutes
