Thank you for your interest in having a stall at the above event.

Stalls Terms & Conditions

  • The cost is £35 for a 3 metreor £60 for a 6 metre frontage pitch outside on Stoneham Street

You will need to be supply your own weatherproof covering such as weighted down Gazebo, Table and Chairs. Please note whilst street lighting is provided it does get dark so we recommend that you provide some form of lighting for your pitch.

  • The cost is £30 for a single table or £50 for a double table inside the village hall. Tables and chairs will be provided.
  • Parking for outdoor and indoor pitches will be in the public car park or side streets. Outside stall holders will not be able to park beside their pitches.
  • You can arrive between 11.00am – 12 noon all stalls must be set up 30 minutes before advertised start time and you are NOT to clear away until after the advertised finishing time.
  • PLEASE NOTE due to health and safety regulations anyone turning up after 12 noon will be refused to pitch up and asked to leave with no refund of your pitch fee.
  • Stallholders must keep their pitch clean and tidy during the event and all rubbish is to be taken away with you after the event.
  • The event will be a Medieval Theme and we would ask that you take this into consideration with your attire on the day and the dressing of your stall.
  • We will be limiting the number of pitches selling the same things as the local shops and each other. They will be allocated on a first come first serve basis with priority being given to local stallholders.
  • Pitch fees are non-refundable.

Generators and Electrical Appliances

Petrol cans for generators that are used on stalls must be stored in a safe and secure manner. They must not be left unattended or in direct sunlight for any duration of the stall being in operation. All electrical appliances and cables must display a current PAT certificate sticker.

Food Safety

Caterers and other providers of prepared food for sale must provide evidence of being licensed for Food, Health and Hygiene and registered with a local authority.

All those who use specialist catering vehicles, electrical or gas appliances must provide with the booking form, either valid safety certificatesor invoices showing that items were purchased not more than 2 years before the Show date.

Trading Standards

It is your personal responsibility to ensure you trade legally and safely at all times and that all goods sold comply with current laws relating to the supply of goods and services. Further information is available at your local Trading Standards Office.

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the individual stallholder and the stallholders must insure they are covered for all eventualities (i.e. public liability and product insurance) for at least £2 million.

Successful applicants will be required to make payment by 14th April 2017 failure to do so will mean the stall will be offered to the next person on the list
