Keith King & Associates is a full service advertising and public relations agency located in Detroit, Michigan. Keith King & Associates has a reputation of applying science to theart of advertising. We are marketing oriented. We create total packages from product introduction, through distribution channels, trade presentations, to the consumers. We do the research... the product... the consumer... the competition... and then develop the creative approach and media mix to reach target consumers effectively and efficiently. Keith King, the President and CEO of Keith King & Associates has 30 years experience in advertising and public relations. His background includes Sales Management positions in Radio, Television and Magazines. He worked for the (then) parent Corporations of ABC (Capital Cities, WJR radio, 8 years), CBS (Viacom, WLTI-FM, 2 years) and other radio and television stations. He held Senior Management/Partner positions at various advertising agencies including VP Media Director and EVP of new Business Development before forming Keith King & Associates in 1998. Having held Sales Management positions in Radio and Television, he brings an insider's point of view to the media buying process. With trade industry recognition as a retail, coop, and vendor expert, he has extensive experience in developing and implementing integrated advertising and marketing programs.
Associate, C. Thomas (Tom) Scholl, is President and Creative Director of CTS Advertising, Inc., Dearborn, Michigan, an advertising and marketing agency he founded in 1981. Tom and the agency are known for its award winning creative work. He has won numerous national and international awards for creative excellence including CLIO, IBA, ANDY, ADDY and CADDY awards. He has been invited to judge creative awards contests both locally and nationally. He is a member of the Adcraft Club of Detroit and a founding member of The Creative Directors Club of Detroit.
Prior to founding CTS, He was a Vice President Creative Director in the Detroit office of Young & Rubicam, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. He worked on the Lincoln-Mercury account and other national, regional and local accounts. He began his advertising career with Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Michigan as a copywriter.
Associate John R. King, was the president of Nordhaus Research, Inc. one of the thirty-eighth largest research companies in America. While at Nordhaus, John worked for a variety of clients and industries, including health care, government, automotive, financial, advertising, utilities, and consulting firms. He is also a seasoned and well
respected moderator, having completed hundreds of focus groups, triads, and executive interviews.
John is a member of the Qualitative Research Council of America, a national organization of professional moderators. He is also an active member of the American Marketing Association, the Adcraft Club of Detroit, the Economic Club of Detroit, and the Founders Society of the Detroit Institute of Arts. He is a past president of the Detroit Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Associate, D. Victor Pytko, has held management positions in public communications – for news media and public relations firms-- for more than 30 years. While specializing in the automotive industry, he also has considerable experience in professional services, technology, travel and tourism, and economic development. He has served clients across the entire automotive value chain, from raw producer, supplier and OEM manufacturing to retail, aftermarket, trade association, consultants and the news media.
Associate Laura Richards, her background includes the positions of: Director of Public Relations & Development for the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America and Account Executive at Strat@comm and MacDonald Communications. Previously she worked at a full-service public relations and marketing firm where she managed a variety of accounts in the transportation, technology and nonprofit sectors. She was involved with the launch of several products and initiatives, including Ford’s Boost America program, a statewide mental health program, the grand opening of an assembly plant and several technology products. Associate Ellen Duckman, Established Chameleon Graphicsin 1991 and built it's foundation on design. With a primary interest in visual identity campaigns, Ellen working with freelance designers increased the scope of Chameleon's portfolio to include all 2 dimensional design projects. These includes logo design, marketing pieces, retail advertising and most recently web media both for local and national accounts.
Associate Dana King has been a professional Office Manager for the past 15 years. Her extensive background includes running the office and staff for two Optometrists for 8 years and the office of 6 Doctors at the Urology Specialist of Michigan. She coordinates all financial and accounting functions with our CPA firm and oversees all clerical functions.
