Keeping the air clean at workstations in orthopedic workshops
STRAUBENHARDT – Manufacturing modern artificial limbs and orthotics and providing them to patients and rehabilitants represents an important subarea of medical aftercare. These products are individually produced and repaired in orthopedic rehabilitation workshops, which are microenterprises that can also be directly connected to clinics and hospitals.
Today various raw materials are used to produce orthopedic products: wood, steel and leather, but also modern materials like plastics, cast resin and carbon. While working and processing the materials in these workshops and work areas, the employees' health can be harmed by dust and gas emissions. In particular, these emissions consist of micrometer-sized fine dust particles that are alveolar and enter the body through the respiratory system, where they can impair or damage your health. It is therefore essential to effectively eliminate these types of emissions in the workplace.

The company offers compact LN and BF series filter units, which are particularly suitable for use in orthopedic workshops. These units are equipped with multi-level filter systems and practical accessories, which can be easily and conveniently operated and maintained. The device concept is based on a modular design. This allows the user to enhance an existing and fully functioning base unit with additional filter modules according to the type of contaminants that need to be extracted. All TBH units are equipped with a fully adjustable power control and a dependable monitoring system for the filter load.
