Studies show if a child starts behind, they stay behind.

This campaignwill help make sure that every child is ready to start kindergarten.

Our goal is to raise $150k per year for 5 years.

Every dollar raised is matched by the Gates Foundation and Thrive by Five Washington.

PierceCountyDomestic Violence

11,000 domestic violence incidents per year – only 7%receive counseling and legal services through the CrystalJudsonFamily JusticeCenter.

This campaign will cut the number of domestic violence calls in half

and double the number of women getting help.

Our goal is to raise $150kper year for2 years.

Puget SoundArts and Culture

More people watch a single program on KBTC than attend a museum or theater in a year.

Puget Sound has dozens of outstanding arts and cultural venues.

Most have limited resources for promotion.

KBTC can dramatically raise awareness and attendance.

$150k will produce a weekly arts and culture segment inside FULL FOCUS for one year.

$100k will produceregular announcements featuring various arts and cultural venues.

$50k will producetwo 30-minute special broadcasts.

$25k will produce 5 arts and cultural segments on FULL FOCUS.
