Research Consultant 2007 – 2009

Work within the Global Health Primary Care Initiative program evaluation and research team to develop, administer and analyze assessment tools for Family Medicine Residency Programs in Vietnam & Laos. Design and conduct focus groups on site with physicians and patients in Vietnam. Co-author and coordinate manuscripts for publication in medical journals. Seek funding for emerging residency training projects in developing countries.

School Ground Greening Coordinator 2005-2006 2005 - 2006

Worked with teachers, school administrators, school department staff, City staff and private contractors and businesses to plan for, coordinates and implement “greening” programs at Portland elementary schools. Final projects included outdoor recreation areas and theme gardens to coincide with curriculum plans and requirements.
