PM2 Marketing & Sales
Basics of marketing and sales, also in an international context, are taught through lecture.
PM3 Business Research 1
At the end of the course you will have some basic understanding of what aspects business research comprise of and how research is being applied in business at an introduction level. These skills enable you to make sense of the vast amount of data which is available and arrive at sensible recommendations for business organizations. The course explains basic methodologies, namely the distinction between primary and secondary research, and different types of primary research. It also will contain some first insights in the usage of Excel and descriptive statistics. This course is part of the research learning line.
PM4Applied Creativity
Fundamental principles of developing creative solutions for personal and business challenges are trained in seminar setting.
PM5Effective Communication Skills 1
Training in key verbal and non-verbal communication skills in English.
PM6 Additional Language 1
Additional Language Spanish
Elective module in second language, Spanish. Offers language training at the appropriate level.

PM7Personal & professional development I
Students are guided to actively work on improving key personal and professional competencies Situational self-assessment, reflection and training, both in the study program and outside of university, form an important basis for this module. Students track their progress in a digital portfolio, which can be used as a “personal branding” tool.
PLA7 Dutch for beginners
This course helps the student to acquire a practical knowledge of spoken Dutch. This course focuses mainly on spoken Dutch. However, listening, reading and writing skills are being considered as well.
PLA14 Business English
Meetings are essential communications tools for running a company. They are fundamental for decision making and conveying information. When they are well run, they contribute to the social atmosphere within a team, whereas poorly run meetings become a source of frustration and disappointment. The reality is that few people actually like meetings. This is often because participants have scant experience in how to effectively contribute to meetings. In addition, meetings are often poorly planned and executed by the meeting chairperson. In both cases, it is essential to clearly establish the aims of the meeting and ensure that all participants are well prepared for the meeting.
