  • Students must obtain the Non-Immigrant ED-visa to study in Thailand
  • Proof of Medical / Health Insurance coverage for duration of studies

Credit Workload per Semester (ECTS Credits) / 15 to 18 credit hours (5 or 6 classes; generally 15 weeks of instruction with 3 credit hours of instruction per week, plus midterm and final exam or project)

Program focus is applied economics, with majors in Logistics/Supply Chain Management; Agricultural Business & Food; Tourism & Hospitality; Financial Economics for Entrepreneurs.
Bachelor of Economics – English (BEcon)
Program focus includes International Economics; Fiscal and Monetary Theories; Business Economics; Economic Development & Planning
M.S. and Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics (English)
The postgraduate programs are research oriented, with an emphasis on empirical and applied research, often with field studies in regional agricultural economies. Focus on agricultural economic issues: international trade, policy development, preservation of natural resources; sustainability of environmental resources, agribusiness marketing, and micro-finance. The program attracts many international students.
Language of Instruction and Other International Programs / EEBA and BEcon degree classes are taught in English at introductory and advanced levels.Approximately 80 different subject classes are offered by the Faculty of Economics; visiting students may separately petition for permission to take classes offered in English by other KU Faculty, such as Business Administration; Education; Humanities (Tourism); Engineering; Agro Industry - Food Science; Tropical Agriculture; Forestry; Fisheries. (Additional fees, if any - estimate 10,000 THB per class)
Thai Language Study / Thai language classes are available for visiting students (estimate 3000 THB)
