Introduction:
As the Tsunami Hit, we have started our work in various districts, And also In Kanyakumari we have started the tailoring center and a concelling center for the children, and we plan to take the Tsunami affected children to Amusement park. And after a long time we had a chance to take 235 children to the amusement park in Madurai, talking to the concern people in kanyakumari we plan the trip to take the children to MaduraiAdhiysamPark. From Asha Honor team chandravel Jeba Durai were taking charge from start to finish.
Background of the Children:
The children are from the most affected by Tsunami in Kanyakumari, and we pick the children from various village and it cover 235 kids from class sixth to eighth standard,. The children are very happy about the Trip.
Over all About the Trip:
Jeba and chandravel arranged the Amusement trip for the children, and they planned the trip such a way:
- Visiting the MaduraiMeenakashiAmmanTemple first, from there we move to Madurai amusement park.
The children started from kanyakumari on 25thFebruary morning 4.30 and they reached Madurai at 9.30Am and myself and chandravel was waiting near the maduraiBus stand to receive all the kids. First we heared the voice of the children singing a good song and we found the children they came in three bus and the whole madurai is watching the children how they feel happy about the trip from there I took charge the children from the bus stand and we went to Madurai Meenakashi Amman temple in a long Que, all the children followed me and we went to the temple and in the temple we provided some snacks for the children and they are happily spending the time in the temple and we were from 10.00Am to 11.30Am.
From there we moved to MaduraiAmusement Park, and there we landed at 12.30Am and there was a warm welcome from the staff of the Athiysam theme park employees. And we got our tickets and we moved to the amusement park, As soon as we enter the amusement park the children are very happy and they change all the dress and they jumped into the water and they are playing very well w have two types of games in Athisayam, Dry games and water games and we asked the kids what games they want to play they old we want to play both the games and we also agreed that, with the of the Athisayam employees and the manager they gave us a special discount. The games in Athisayam are as follows.

These are the games in the theme park and all the children enjoyed. And we had a good time with the children for more than five hours and they enjoyed upto they can enjoy.
Actually the ticket for the theme park is Rs 300 each, and as we stated that we are coming from chennai from Asha For education a social work organization and they asked us about our work and we explained them everything and we stated that thses children are affected by Tsunami, and they cut down the price for Rs125 for each child.
And the bus charge was also reduced a lot the bus cost 8000Rs from Kanyakumari to Madurai to and fro. We spoke to the collector of Kanyakumari and reduced it to Rs 6000 for one bus, and they have given permission for us and once again is a good achievement to us to move with the government people and asking permission to the collector and cut down the cost.
