Call for Abstracts

The Nursing Research Symposium has a long history of supporting nurse scholarswith an opportunity for nurses and nursing studentsto contribute a poster presentation to disseminate their evidence based work.

  • What are you doing in your practice setting to improve nursing practice or education?
  • How have outcomes of care been improved? What worked and what needs further study?
  • What can other health care professionals learn from your research or project experience?

We can’t wait to find out!

We invite you to submit abstract for your poster presentationshowcasing your individual or group project.

We anticipate posters in Quality Initiative; Evidence Based Practice, & Research -IRB reviewed categories.

Key Points for Presenters

  • Abstract -150-250 words (purpose, problem, methods, results, conclusion/recommendations)
  • Poster -sized to be tacked to a 4’x 8’ cork board; presenters should plan to stand by their posted during display times; plan for set up at 8am
  • Deadline for Application/Abstract Deadline is March 1, 2018
  • Awards -based on the voting audience, one poster from each of the 3 poster categories -Quality Initiative; Evidence Based Practice, & Research (IRB reviewed)will be given an award
  • All poster presenters must register for the conference (fee for student presenters will be waived)
