1. The competition is organized in four age groups:

Group A - date of birth after January 1, 2003Group B - born in years2001, 2002 Group C - born in years 1999, 2000 Group D – born in years 1996, 1997, 1998

2. The competition consist of two rounds. Both rounds are public.Piccoloflutesdoes not participate inthe contest.

3. All program (App. 1) are performed by memory.

4.The participants draw lots after opening ceremony of competition. The playing order is maintained throughout the competition. If the participant or his agent doesn’t come in time for lot drawing, he will not be admitted to the competition.

5. Participants’ performances shall be evaluated by the international Jury. All decisions of the Jury are final and not subject to appeal. The marks obtained will not be announced.

6.Nothing less than 50% competitors (not more than 12) from each group are shall be selected by the Jury to participate in the second round of the competition. Those who do not proceed shall receive a Acknowledgment Script in remembrance of their participation in KSIC immediately upon annunciation of the results.

7. In the secondround the Jury is entitled to award the first to third prize and honorable mentions (diploma) of the first to third degree.The Jury is entitled to award each of the first to third prizes to several winners.

8. Deadline for application submission is February 1, 2015. Application should be submitted along with a copy of the participation fee receipt. The participant’s fee is €35.00 and is payable to JBS account in AS Swedbank, IBAN: LV22HABA0551034079019, SWIFT: HABALV22. The participation fee is not refunded if competitor does not participate in the Competition.

9. After the close of the competition the Jury shall proclaim the Grand prize - winner of the competition. The Jury may decide not to proclaim the Grand prize. The organizers of the competition and the sponsors may award competitors with additional prizes.

10.The competitors receive their prizes and other awards at the Gala Concert where the Grand prize - winner, thefirst prize – winnersand other participants by jurychoice are performing.The competitors shall be informed about it at the results annunciation during the second round and are obliged by this decision to perform at the Concert. If a competitor doesn’t come to take the prize, it may be forfeited to the organizers.

11. The participants are personally responsible for all traveling expenses, boarding and accommodation.

12. Previous competition first prizes winners may participate only in the next highest age group. The Grand prize - winner cannot participate at the next competition.

13. With the permission of the competition organizers all phases of the contest may be broadcast live, recorded and filmed for subsequent broadcast, film or audio recording use and no fee will be payable to any competitor for such.

14. The organizers of the competition will provide interested parties with further information upon request.
