June 7 First Friday to Feature Art Exhibits, Live Music, Shopping, Discounts

Dayton, May 30, 2013 – Downtown’s next free First Friday art hop will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 7. Art exhibits, live music, dinner and drink specials, and retail sales will be featured at a variety of downtown businesses. Details are below about what’s on tap at participating locations during the June 7 First Friday.

Art

• CADC, 45 S. St. Clair St.: Hosting a Reveal Party to welcome new artists showing at the gallery, including Bruce Soiffer Photography. Art Benefits memberships will be on sale, and CACD will host a raffle in which winners pick their prizes, choosing from a hand-painted piano, table or small sewing stand; a painting; a painted bottle of wine; and a small jewelry box. • The Collaboratory, 33 N. Main St.: Hosting “The Artists of Second and Ludlow,” featuring work by five artists who share a studio at that location.
