The Bergen Town Board convened in a regular session at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall with Supervisor Cunningham presiding.

Gay Grasso of G & G Municipal Consulting gave an updates on the median income surveys for the Town of Bergen Water District #4 and the Community Development Block Grant for the library.
MINUTES: CouncilmanStone made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of May 9, 2017; seconded by CouncilmanAnderson it carried by a vote 3-0. Supervisor Cunningham and Councilman Haywood abstain Councilman Haywood made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of May 23, 2017; seconded by Councilman Grant it carried by a vote 4-0. Councilman Stone abstained

HIGHWAY: written report: second pass on roadside mowing; oil and stone Cook and Jerico; culverts on Maple Ave. and Wood Rd.; paving on Swamp Rd.
SUPERVISORS AND TOWN CLERK’S MAY 2017 REPORTS: Councilman Haywood made a motion to file the Supervisors and Town Clerk’s May 2017 reports; seconded by Councilwoman Grant and it carried by a vote 5-0.
COMMITTEES:
BUILDINGS: Special recognition for library mural artist
PARKS: Mike Glazier at BOCES teaches a Conservation class works on environmental projects and is interested in Drews Nature Center trails. Paul Chatfield submitted a proposal for the Parks Master Plan. Councilwoman Grant made a motion to approve the proposal from Paul Chatfield for $7500 for the Parks Master Plan; seconded by Councilman Stone and carried by a vote 5-0.
LOCAL HISTORY AND MUSEUM: Great turn out at the museum during the Park Festival
POLICY AND PERSONNEL: Nothing to report
NEWBUSINESS:
Court Clerk CoverageCouncilman Stone made a motion to approve a 3rd temporary clerk due to maternity leave; seconded by Councilman Anderson and carried by a vote 5-0. budget concernfor Interpreter use will be increasing
Mural DedicationDavid Burke would like to have a dedication of the mural he painted on the back of the library set for June 27th at 6:00.
Anti-Virus Quote Councilman Anderson made a motion to approve the Anti-Virus quote from V2D LLC for $399.99 for 2 yrs /9 users; seconded by Councilwoman Grant and it carried by a vote 5-0.
OLD BUSINESS: Councilman Haywood made a motion to engage a contract for grant writing with G & G Municipal Consulting & Grant writing; seconded by Councilman Stone and it carried by vote 5-0.
BILLS: The bills were presented for audit and totaled General A Fund $51,516.26; General B Fund $1,727.19; Highway DB $43,854.01; PA-A $2,721.01; PA-DB $4,218.79. Councilwoman Grantmade a motion to pay the June bills; seconded by CouncilmanAnderson and it carried by a vote 5-0.
