CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
I, ______an incoming______year student for the School Year ______of Juan P. Jalipa Memorial National High School together with my parent(s)/ guardian, Mr. & Mrs.______agree and promise to abide with the conditions / guidelines set by the school and the Department of Education.
Herewith, the following acts are considered unlawful/ improper and therefore subject to disciplinary action as determined and agreed by the proper school authorities and the PTA to wit:
1. Stealing and shoplifting.
2. Engaging in any form of gambling.
3. Possessing, exposing, distributing magazines, books, pictures, cards and other pornographic materials.
4. Forgery, Falsification, tampering and misuse of records, ID and other public documents.
5. Unexcused absences and cutting classes.
6. Non- participation in school activities such as flag ceremony.
7. Chewing gum while having classes.
8. Erasing or tampering announcements.
9. a. Wearing of multiple or dangling earrings, anklets or nose jewelry for all students.
b. Wearing of earrings, nose jewelry or tongue.
10. Hair dyeing (except original color).
11. Dishonesty such as cheating during examination / quizzes or plagiarism in academic work.
12.Vandalism and/or destruction of school properties or properties of other students and on ID’s littering
13. Non-wearing of prescribed uniform and haircut contrary to school standard.
14. Entering the school premises smelling with cigarettes and/or liquor.
15. Membership and organizing gangs, fraternities, sororities, organizations and clubs unauthorized by the school.
16. Instigating, leading or participating in any activities leading to disruption of classes/ administrative works and any on- going activities of the school.
17. Possession and distribution of narcotics or dangerous drugs, under the influence of alcoholic drinks and smoking inside or near the vicinity of school while still wearing school uniform.
18. Possession and use of explosives , firecrackers and other deadly bladed weapons.
19. Use of vulgar, indecent, blasphemous words to any students, teacher, official and employees of institution .
20. Fighting inside or near the vicinity of the school.
21. Bribery and extortion.
22. Doing acts of lasciviousness or sexual harassment.
23. Insubordination and assault to school authorities.
24. Other undesirable acts and behavior not stated here shall be dealt accordingly
