Journal # 3 Kite Runner Chapters 8-10 Civil Unrest
In Chapter Ten of The Kite Runner, Amir and Baba, along with many other Afghans, become refugees, making their way out of war-torn Afghanistan to Pakistan.

Reflect and write about the possibility of such a crisis taking place in the United States. What sort of events and situations could disrupt our society significantly?

Imagine a situation has erupted in your area and you have no choice but to flee on foot and you are unsure if you will ever return. You have three minutes to gather what you can carry in a small backpack or bag, what do you bring? Where do you go?
