What: Jones County High School Lady Hounds Fastpitch Camp

Where: Jones County High School Softball/Baseball Complex

When: June 6 - 9, 2016

What Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, each day

Cost: $70 pre-register by June 1, ($65 for each additional sibling pre-register by June 1)

$80 register after June 1, ($75 for each additional sibling registered after June 1)

The Jones County Softball Camp is a great opportunity for all young players to learn softball skills, drills and strategies from the JCHS Fastpitch softball staff and current players. The Jones County High School Fastpitch staff and former players will lead the campers through fundamental drills and competitions including infield, outfield, pitching, catching, hitting, slapping, bunting, base running and team play. The camp format is in place to expose campers to the drills and skills used at the upper level of high school competition. Having fun and learning fastpitch skills from the best fastpitch players in Jones County will build the foundation for future success of the individual player and continue the success of the Jones County High School Fastpitch program.

JCHS Camp and/or staff are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. The camp staff will do everything within our power to keep items organized and in place. Please put your name on every item that your camper brings with them.

At camp on Thursday June 9, t-shirts will be given and campers will participate on a slip and slide to learn the fundamentals of sliding. Please be sure to wear a bathing suit or other suitable attire under your softball clothes and bring a towel with your name on it.

Participation Waiver I hereby authorize the Jones County High School Softball Camp to act according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention and I hereby waive and release Jones County BOE, JCHS, JCHS Camp and all staff, employees, and participants from any and all liabilities and negligence which cause injury and/or illness while attending the camp. I have no knowledge of any physical impairment that would affect the below named participant. As parent/guardian of the below named participant, I agree to these terms by completing and submitting the registration form and fees.
