Escambia Boys Base (Supervisor) June 2013 to Present
· Screen, process, evaluate, and conduct interviews for potential staff. Supervise, train, and counsel new staff.
· Manage staff to include: monitoring productivity, training in professional conduct, building positive rapport with juveniles, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention.
· Work closely with Department of Juvenile Justice, Community Social Service Agencies, Escambia County School District, Volunteers, Military, and Parents/Guardians to ensure treatment and rehabilitation of juvenile residents.
· Provide intensive supervision and services to at-risk juveniles with diverse issues to include: foster youth, disabled youth, emotional disturbed youth, substance dependant youth, and violent youth.

· Acquired and maintained appropriate training and certification in approved DJJ Protective Action Response Techniques (PAR), CPR and First Aid, Prison Rape Elimination Act, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and Trauma.
· Provided conflict resolution, de-escalation, therapeutic services and crises intervention to at-risk juvenile adolescents with various issues in the Florida Juvenile Justice System.
· Wrote case summaries, reports, read and documented all pertinent information in the logbook. Completed all forms and reports in a correct, legible and timely manner. Performed intake assessments and screening process of juveniles admitted into the residential facility through Florida Juvenile Court System.
· Identified and coordinated each resident’s medical and dental needs. Maintained a sick call list daily. Ensured residents received sick calls and dental appointments on time and that any emergencies are seen by medical staff as soon as possible.
· Supervised juveniles to and from all assigned areas on or off campus in a timely manner.
