Testimonial:

Prior to September, 2004, Tri-County Association for the Blind handled all matters relating to the implementation of a group benefit plan. This meant we solicited quotes from various carriers each year and compared the benefits and rates presented; we implemented benefits directly with a carrier working closely with the carrier’s customer service staff when problems or issues arose, and we conducted employee meetings when required to communicate benefit concepts and costs.

Since September, 2004, when Diane began working with the Association, we not only controlled the cost of the benefit plans, but our staff’s responsibilities have been refocused to concentrating on key operational matters most important to the Association’s mission. As our benefit consultant, Diane monitors enrollment transactions and billing changes, handles all employee communications, annually reviews the current plan’s performance and costs and through a detailed quoting and analysis process, makes recommendations for plan improvements that maintain a comprehensive program while keeping costs in check.

It has been a real time saver for TCAB. It is a comfort to know that when an employee has a question regarding their health care, we just have them call Diane. I know that the employee’s are getting accurate information and great customer service. Diane has taken the guessing game out of Health Care for Tri-County Association for the Blind.

Testimonial:

Our February 2005 health plan renewal notification presented a potential cost increase of 33%. One of my sales executives met with Diane Gutshall at a workshop and she briefly explained the services she provides as a group benefit consultant. In summary, Diane reviewed several carrier options and determined those carriers were uncompetitive and she recommended a creative solution to control costs while continuing to maintain a comprehensive benefit plan. Our annual costs are estimated to increase only 13%. The creative concept coupled a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) with a high deductible health plan (HDHP).

Diane has been invaluable in educating me about changes in healthcare concepts and assisting employees in understanding how both the HRA and HDHP work. She is always available upon request to me and my staff, and she is responsive to our needs.

As a small business owner, consistently dealing with cost increases, it is our pleasure to have found Diane and have added her to my inner circle of outside partners. I have a great accountant, lawyer and financial advisor that I trust with the growth of my company. Now I’ve added Diane and her company to my list.

I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for ways to keep their health benefits costs in line.

PROVIDING SOLUTIONS IS OUR MISSION

Behind health insurance, dental insurance is the next most frequently requested benefit by prospective employees

Vision insurance plans are relatively inexpensive when purchased on a group basis, and the cost of such programs is significantly less than the benefit received.

A core group life insurance benefit is favorably perceived by employees. If coupled with the ability for employees to purchase supplemental life insurance, the plan will greatly enhancement your employee’s personal financial security.

Non-work related disability programs provide security.

Capital Region Benefits understands the importance of these programs and helps employers determine how best to provide these additional benefits for the purpose of retaining valued and skilled employees as well as recruiting new employees.
