Music and movement classes for babies and young children with songs, singing, dancing and FUN!!!

Little Stars NI

·  Led by Laura Coey, a qualified teacher and experienced children’s worker.

·  As every star is unique, so is every child – the workshops are aimed at helping babies and young children understand they are all special and should feel confident in who they are. I use a mascot, Sammy Star as well as instruments and props.

·  Babies and young children naturally love music! Whether it’s soft and soothing or a lively tune, children feel it both physically and emotionally. Music and movement can help with the following:

1. Participating in a group

2. Social skills

3. Express emotions

4. Refine listening skills‐noticing changes in tempo or pitch

5. Awareness of movement and body positions

6. Creativity and imagination

7. Learn new words and concepts

8. Improve balance, coordination, and rhythm through dance and movement activities.

‘WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING – FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER

‘Come for coffee’ – the 3 little words everyone loves to hear. If you can spare time to join us for a cup of coffee & very worthwhile cause we would be delighted to see you. All money raised will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support. Please do stay & enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat!!

RAINBOW DAY

We have another charity that is very close to our hearts and that is ‘make a wish children’s charity’. We had a little boy who attended the nursery and he very sadly passed away 6 years ago. Each year, as this was his mother’s request, we have a ‘RAINBOW DAY’ wearing bright colours in memory of little Lennon and all money raised goes to ‘make a wish’. Our Rainbow Day this year is WEDNESDAY 7th OCTOBER. Please feel free to join us on this special day by wearing anything bright and colourful and all we ask is a small donation. THANK YOU.

Thank you – Wobblies
