  • Answering of starred/ un-starred Parliament Questions/ VIP/ PMO references /Grievances and other Parliamentary matters related to SD-V
  • Laying of Annual Reports and Audited Annual Accounts of the PPV&FRA on the table of both the Houses of Parliament.
  • Matters on International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture as a National Focal Point
  • Matter on Global Crop Diversity Trust and SAARC Seed Bank
  • Bilateral Cooperation between India and other countries like Germany and the Netherlands on seed sector
  • Matter on GM crops and its related Court cases etc.
  • Matters on National Biodiversity Authority, Cartagena Protocol and Nagoya Protocol

  • Matters relating to National Intellectual Property Rights Policy;
  • VIP references and PMO references;
  • Parliament Questions;
  • Other Parliamentary Matters like Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture, Zero Hours and Rules 377 etc.
  • RTI matters and Grievances;
  • Implementation and monitoring of National Seeds Reserve and Application of Biotechnology in Agriculture components of SMSP under NMAET

  • Notification of territorial limits of branch office of Plant Variety Registry.

  • Matters related to Authority meetings, seed mela, functions awareness programmes.
  • Administrative approval for incurring miscellaneous and contingencies expenditure in the PPV&FRA.
  • Construction of Plant Authority Bhawan.
  • Matter related to issuance of ID card to the officers of the PPV&FR Authority.
  • Inputs for the application received under Right to Information Act, 2005 related to PPV&FR Authority.
  • Processing of Court cases bills submitted by Central Government Standing Counsel in the cases related to this Department.
  • Plant Genome Saviour Community Award, Reward & Recognition in the PPV&FR Authority.
  • Dealing with Public Interest Disclosure Resolution/complaint/grievances related to PPV&FR Authority.
