Joining instructions for delegates attending the Bondholders Breakfast

at the University of Hull – Friday 17 November 2017

Delegates attending the Bondholders Breakfast should use the car park at the Dennison Centre in the first instance. (Shown as No 18 on the attached map) The Dennison Centre is situated next to the Old Grey Mare Public House on Cottingham Road.

Please display the attached parking permit in your vehicle when parking either in the Dennison Centre, or on campus.

Please note that because of essential development work taking place at the University, car parking spaces are very limited at the moment. Wilberforce multi-story car park (57)which is accessible by the campus rear entrance is pay and display (£1 for 4 hours and £2 all day, payable by card only). There are other car parks available on campus,but please do not park in any category ‘B’ spaces on, or park on any double yellow lines, or in any other restricted areas. Parking penalty charge notices may be issued in these instances.

There is extensive on street parking available around the campus also - Cottingham Road and Cranbrook Avenue (2 hours duration), Inglemire Lane (parking restrictions apply on some parts), Salmon Grove and Newland Park

Venue

The event will be held in the Allam Medical Building (shown at No 5 on the map) The building is situated on the new plaza, adjacent to the Brynmor Jones Library (No 8) After parking your vehicle at the Dennison Centre, please cross Cottingham Rd using the pelican crossing turn left and walk along the pavement, turning right into the main entrance of the University. Follow the path down into the University, and turn left when you reach a crossroads in the path. You will then see the Allam Medical Building directly in front of you beyond the library. Registration is from 7.45am.

  • Select UOH-Guest from the list of wireless networks on your laptop or mobile device.
  • Open your browser and you will be redirected to a login page.
  • Enter your email address and mobile number.
  • Tick the boxes to accept the terms and conditions and then press Get Online.
  • After a few moments, you will see the word 'success'.
  • You are now connected! Close and re-open your browser to go online.
