I'm not your typical sports anchor that uses lingo and cute sayings in my sportscasts. Various people in this market have given me the same feedback, and I appreciate them noticing that fact. I have been told that my casts are very direct and to the point while being professional and enthusiastic at the same time. I strive to get out out as much factual information as possible in the few minutes that I have to deliver the sports. My goal is not to be a comedian on-air, it's to get information out to the viewer in a crisp, energetic manner. My attention to detail also makes me more than just an adequate reporter, because the people that I interview trust that I will not give out information that isn't factual.

Thank for the opportunity,

John Callahan
