JOB TITLE: Therapist

GRADE: SCP 13

RESPONSIBLE TO: SPA MANAGER

PURPOSE:

To assist the Spa Manager in the day to day operation of EVE Spa providing accessible Spa experiences and Health & Beauty treatments for all from a premier facility available to members and the general public.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  To deliver quality Health & Beauty Treatments to defined standards as expected from a premier facility.

2.  To set an example at all times in standards, professionalism, attitude and appearance.

3.  To deliver defined standards and therapist protocols at all times.

4.  Keep update to manuals, workbooks, to ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.

5.  To be responsible for cost effective usage of all spa related materials and assets.

6.  To show commitment to learning new techniques and enhancing existing skills base to develop as an individual and as part of the team.

7.  Ensuring good levels of customer service to all users with a positive personal image and display a positive image of EVE Spa.

8.  To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the Spa at all times.

9.  To provide information and advice to members and non members to get the most from their visit.

10.  To promote and sell the range of services available in EVE Spa to maximise sales.

11.  Assist the Spa team in the delivery of events.

12.  To cover reception as and when necessary.

13.  Ensure that the computerised booking system is operated in an efficient manner and in accordance with operational procedures.

14.  Receive and account for all monies, carrying our reconciliation of such and prepare for banking in accordance with procedure.

15.  Report and record all faults, breakdowns, broken equipment, etc., according to the facility's Code of Practice

16.  Work as part of a team to create an effective working relationship which meets expectations and requirements for the efficient organisation of operations

17.  Ensure compliance with relevant procedures as identified in the Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP).

18.  To carry out projects and assignments as required.

19.  Any other duties appropriate to the post and in line with the needs of the service.

Maintain a 7 day flexible working pattern between the hours of 7am and 11pm to meet the needs of the service or as requested by line management.
