EMPLOYMENT STATUS:Non-exempt
TIME COMMITMENT:Full-time, 40 hours/week
STARTING SALARY: Salary Commensurate with Experience
Position Summary
The Resource Coordinator is the primary service provider for clients referred to the Resource Assistance program. To ensure client’s basic needs are met, the Coordinator makes initial contact with client, engages in welcome meeting for needs assessment and development of Resource Plan, and supports all phases of client implementation of the Plan. The Coordinator provides facilitated referrals and individual life skill instruction, coordinates workshop participation or presents modified workshop curriculum directly to clients, participates in meetings with County to ensure client and/or program progress, tracks client progress in agency Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) case management software program, and generates regular ETO reports to assess progress and make necessary course corrections to ensure client success.
Supervisorial Responsibilities:Up to 10 volunteers
Essential Functions
1.Successfully execute the SonomaWORKs grant and develop a functional expertise of the grant’s requirements by
- providing resource and referral services to individuals and families in crisis.
- acting as a public representative to the community for Catholic Charities in the service of programs provided to clients.
- developing and implementing a plan for achieving the Scope of Work in accordance with the funder-approved activity schedule.
2.Maintain and update the Efforts to Outcomes client database.
3.Participate in weekly and monthly resource meetings with program staff.
4.Partner with and collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure the program deliverables are met on a daily basis.
5.Develop curriculum content for participant/client learning and training which meet program outcomes and objectives.
6.Coordinate Emergency Fund Committee meetings and manage process for approval of applications.
7.Develop collaborative relationships with resource agencies and establish procedures for direct client referrals.
8.Maintain thorough and accurate records, files, correspondence, and statistics in both written form and in the data system to fully document services.
9.Attend meetings as required by County or other referring/referral partners.
10.Work with the Manager in following Council on Accreditation (COA) process for policies and procedures related to program activities and other department requirements, as assigned.
11.Identify opportunities to improve processes in order to deliver the highest quality experience possible for clients, and follow through with these improvements as assigned.

Other Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills Required
1.Bachelor’s degree in Social Services preferred, previous related experience of 3-4 years may substitute for degree.
2.Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking and writing preferred.
3.Experience following and meeting program goals and objectives.
4.Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, availability to work weekends, evenings and travel overnight, as necessary.
5.Experience working with and guiding volunteers preferred.
6.Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, as well as the ability to assist clients in developing and tracking family budgets.
7.Cooperative, friendly, and helpful attitude with clients and coworkers. Ability to work closely with others to ensure positive, constructive environment within the program or department, and throughout the agency.
8.Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds required.
9.Appropriate organizational and communication skills to fulfill job duties. Computer literacy required.
10.Ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced and growth-oriented environment, while maintaining a sense of humor and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
11.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
12.Passion and enthusiasm for the mission of CCDSR and its clients.
13.Must have valid California driver’s license and insurance.
Physical Requirements
- Requires ability to sit up to 3-6 hours per day with intermittent occasional walking, standing, bending, squatting, grasping, and pulling/pushing.
- Requires ability to drive up to 2-4 hours per day.
- Occasionally may be required to lift items up to 10 pounds to a height up to 6 feet.
- Occasionally may be required to carry items up to 25 pounds for distances up one block.
