We showcase more than 130 fragrance brands available in over 185 stores throughout the UK, online at and via our app and mobile site, as well as over the phone. The Fragrance Shop is on a steep growth track with many exciting new development plans on the horizon that will see us expand into new categories starting with beauty in 2017, new customer demographic groups that will come with their own specific niche and more premium brands, and further growth into new international markets.

Role Snapshot:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join TFS at a crucial time in their growth period. The PPC Executive will be responsible for managing the day to day delivery of our PPC channels. The scope of the role covers all biddable media channels such as PPC and retargeting across the whole suite of online products – mobile, app, and desktop, as well as driving footfall into stores. PPC is our number one traffic driver and where we invest most of our marketing budget, so this is an important role for the business.

Responsibilities:

Support the PPC & SEO Manager to deploy effective PPC and retargeting campaigns to drive incremental footfall/traffic and profitable sales, and to monetise all opportunities whether online or in-store

Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in Paid Search campaigns

Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns

Drive PPC traffic across global markets through the implementation of effective and profitable search campaigns

Audit and expand keyword and negatives across all campaigns

Develop and analyse ad copy/landing page tests

Implement strategies and tactics to improve quality score and average positions for all activity

Establish good working relationship with our Google and Bing contacts for maximum insight into the space, as well as enable the latest product betas

Maximise profitable traffic from emerging search and digital marketing formats

Develop and implement an effective testing program to open out new channel opportunities to drive growth

Manage the day to day delivery of our PPC performance; scaling visitation and improving click-through and conversion rates through obsessive focus on utilising data/insights and testing

Support the PPC and SEO Manager in delivering weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual digital media targets and KPIs

Constantly keep up-to-date with industry innovation

Any other duties as reasonably requested

Buy-in of digital media plans from Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Priority KPIs showing an upward trajectory including, but not limited to,

  • Traffic / footfall
  • Conversion rates

Effective member of marketing team

Experience/Skills:

Bachelor Degree: Marketing or related (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in PPC either client side or agency.

Experience developing and executing successful biddable campaigns within ecommerce

Good interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to effectively manage key working relationships

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
