Job Title: Marketing Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to: Marketing and Partnership Manager

Location: Manchester

Hours: Part Time – 21 hours per week

Salary: £14,000 to £16,500 pa (pro rata)

The Mentoring and Befriending Foundation (MBF) aims to increase the effectiveness and quality of mentoring and befriending as methods of enabling individuals to transform their lives and/or reach their full potential.
This is achieved through providing training, quality assurance, information, advice and guidance, organisational consultancy and network membership for people interested in mentoring and/ or befriending. MBF also promote the value and showcase the benefits of mentoring and befriending through campaign work, conferences and events.

Overview of the role
MBF are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and self driven individual, with some experience of marketing and communications. This is a busy role where you will need to be a good verbal and written communicator to contribute to promoting and adding value to MBF products and services.

This is a varied role, which allows the opportunity to work across the marketing and communications functions and the wider the voluntary, statutory, education and business sectors.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Support the Marketing and Partnerships Manager with the effective marketing of all MBF products and services

· Develop and manage our email marketing software (Mailchimp)

· Use Salesforce (our CRM database) to manage, record and track all marketing activity

· Ensure the website and social media are maximised as a tool to promote MBF key products, services and initiatives

· Keep the wider organisation up to date on the marketing plans

· Liaise with external marketing suppliers

· Provide marketing and progress reports

· Provide events support and adminstration

· Perform any other reasonable duty requested by the Marketing and Partnerships Manager
