Reporting to: Operations Manager

Main Purpose of Job:

SCSLhealth is entering a stage of rapid expansion in the next 18-24 months; to support this growth you will work with the Systems Administrator and Operations Manager to deliver key milestones within our IT vision and strategy.

We are accredited to ISO27001:2013 and a key part of the role will be supporting this accreditation across the entire business.

Environment:

SCSLhealth operates from Tolvaddon Energy Park in Camborne within a professional, relaxed and friendly environment, focused on innovation and clear commercial targets.

Functional links with:
You will work closely with the Systems Administrator and support all members of staff and contractors in your day to day duties.

Duties and Responsibilities.

1.  Primary:

§  Providing network and IT support for SCSL staff and contractors in a 1st and 2nd line capacity.

§  Setting up and maintaining new technologies, phones, servers, workstations, applications and networking.

§  Working with the Systems Administrator to provide networking analysis, support and design for internal systems.

§  Support our SaaS delivery team with network infrastructure design.

§  Work closely with Information Security Officer and Quality Manager to maintain and continuously improve our ISO27001:2013 accreditation across the business.

2.  Secondary:

§  Participate in team and project process reviews and retrospectives.

§  Actively engage in continuous development of your skills.

§  Work at all times in accordance with:

·  The company Values and Culture.

·  The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to follow all company procedures and guidelines that assist this.

§  Undertake such other duties as may be required within the general scope of the job.

Person specification: IT Operations Graduate

You should have the ability to analyse tasks and problems logically and to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. You will have a rigorous, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.

Our new products are developed in a lean and agile, test driven environment and you will be introduced to and trained in our methodology.

Salary: / £18-20k

You will:

·  Have graduated from university with a relevant Computing degree with a 2:2 minimum.

·  Have operational knowledge of common IT hardware and software.

·  Have a good understanding of network, network protocols, technologies and network architecture.

·  Have a working knowledge of general office applications (Office 2013, IE, Browsers, and Windows 8/10).

·  Be able to troubleshoot systems and technologies effectively and report findings in a concise format via tickets.

·  Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team as projects require.

·  Be able to maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders (Staff, Contractors etc.)

·  Be able to work under pressure during times of system outages or failure.

·  Have the commitment to undergo further personal and technical development to assist achieving business goals as required.

·  Be able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and environments.

·  Be able to report and discuss in front of teams.

·  Have good initiative

·  Be friendly, fun and enjoy working with, and supporting a great group of people.

·  Be able to positively contribute to technical discussion.

You may:

·  Have MCSA/MCSE/CompTIA A+, CCNA or relevant certification.

·  Have proven working knowledge of networking technologies, systems, VLAN, subnets, routing etc.

·  Have experience with virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V/VmWare)

·  Have a working knowledge of ISO 27001:2013 and inherent processes.

·  Be able to punch physical cat5e/6 cabling.

·  Be familiar with development application tools (Visual Studio, MSSQL, Test Manager etc.) to support software delivery team.

·  Be able to work flexible hours if and when required.

·  Be able to write formal and concise documentation, works instructions and standard operating procedures.

·  Be confident to suggest and effect change within a rapidly changing environment.

·  Have some understanding of medical / software industries

·  Have knowledge or experience of working in a standards compliant environment.
