  1. Purpose of the job
  • To work with the project team to help ensure the project meets its target outcomes and milestones, and that partners, funder, and other interested parties are kept appropriately informed and engaged.
  • leading on the organisation of the stakeholder focus groups with support from partners.

The post will sit within the Wales Region. The post holder will be managed by and report to the Divisional Manager, and will act as project director.

  1. Main duties
  • Project planning and monitoring progress
  • Act as main point of contact to the funder and maintain required project documentation
  • Manage the project budget (assisted by finance team)
  • Organise and chair Project Management Group meetings (with administrative assistance)
  • Liaise with project team to ensure all are clear and comfortable with the project and their role in it
  • Coordinate dissemination, working with ‘champions’ in stakeholder organisations and the Victim Support marketing and communications department
  • Oversee the progress of the qualitative interviews with victims of Hate Crime and Incidents
  • Lead on recruitment and preparation for the Project Officers and volunteers
  • Undertake other activities as required.
