SUMMARY

With leadership of VP, Advancement, develops and executes comprehensive development plan, based on Benevon model of fundraising, with strategic focus on relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages everything related to semi-monthly tours on campus. Monitors and initiates enhancements to tour program elements. Oversees tour logistics and delegates tasks to Advancement Associate.

Develops and manages Ambassadors program with Ambassadors Lead on Volunteer Leadership Council. Monitors and distributes content for Ambassadors. Tracks goals and progress of Ambassadors with Lead.

Trains and supports table captains, including frequent electronic communications and program content for table captain social.

Creates and implements a Know thy Donor/Volunteer Program.

With the assistance from Vice President of Advancement, develops strategy to move volunteers to financial donors. This includes regular reporting on volunteer giving to VP.

Provides on-going cultivation, recognition and appreciation of volunteers in order to move them into donor and multi-year donor status.

Develops plans and implements ongoing stewardship efforts with donors, board members, volunteers and volunteer group leaders. Manages thank you efforts, including personal calls, visits, Facebook posts with DIAD Group leads, delegate stewardship tasks to Faith Community Development Assistant.

Assists Volunteer and Donor Engagement Officer with volunteer services reports to Management Team; this would include dollar values of volunteer time and volunteer satisfaction data.

Conducts presentations to promote the agency and volunteer services to churches, community groups, and civic groups to increase gift-in-kind, monetary donations and group projects to improve agency campus and other agency facilities.

With Volunteer Engagement Officer, manages and updates Volunteer Services budget.

Serves as an active member of the Advancement Team.

Expresses Neuro-sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) support opportunities and needs to the external Alexander community.

Participates in the Joint Commission survey as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

B.A. or B.S. in liberal arts and 5 years related experience in nonprofit environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Blackbaud’s Raisers Edge, CDT/ECHO preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS – Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Basic math skills to calculate receipts to donors

REASONING ABILITY -- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
