Salary:£19,032 London Living Wage (plus performance related bonus)

In order to fulfil these ambitions we are looking for a digitally-savvy candidate of graduate calibre who not only understands the opportunities that digital presents, but who also has experience and understanding across the digital spectrum: marketing, technology, data, analytics, and processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and ambitious, high potential individual wanting to develop a career in the charity sector, to work alongside Cause4 CEO and Directors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. It is not essential that you are an expert in all things digital, but it is important that you understand and have experienced the application of tech across most areas, and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty.

A high level of technical and digital acumen, along with an ability to organise and communicate succinctly and effectively will be key to the success of the individual in this role. Above all else, we are looking for someone who recognises the importance of an exceptional customer or user experience; whether that user is a client, a service partner, a website visitor, or an internal member of staff.

Being an excellent communicator and understanding the appropriate tools, tone and language to use is going to be key.

This role will sit within our graduate training programmes.

Digital and Project Management Associate

Cause4’sCEO and Directors are looking for an individual to develop and project manage a portfolio ofdigital sector innovation work,as well as support the overall project management needs of the business.

As a pivotal role in the organisation this individual will act as a role model of demonstrating Cause4 values in action: Curious, Ambitious, United, Straight Talking, Entrepreneurial

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy, the Associate will work on the following activities:

  • Supporting the development of our new digital strategy and helping to implement and embed new systems and ways of working;
  • Supporting a portfolio of client project work.

Specific Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy

  • Working with the Director of Digital Strategy to develop KPIs and targets (website, blog, CRM and social media)
  • Production of monthly and quarterly KPI reports (website, blog and social media)
  • Working with the Director of Digital Strategy to develop an SEO strategy for
  • Responsible for ongoing CMS maintenance of and relatedplugins)
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of (Wordpress and related plugins)
  • Responsible for inducting and on-boarding new staff to the IT systems (PC and Mac)
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and partners where appropriate
  • Overseeing the effective use of the blog scheduling system by the Cause4 team and SMT
  • Working with the Director of Digital Strategy to develop a content strategy (blog and socialmedia)
  • Responsible for timely and accurate publishing of content to
  • Working with the Director of Digital Strategy to develop new procedures, policies and best practice around document and contract management
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the digital assets register
  • Developing a specific area ofexpertisein digital fundraising and to keep up-to-speed with developments and items of news relating to this area
  • Becoming the key authority withinthe team on digital marketing and fundraising and supporting the delivery of client work in this area, as well as leading team and client training where appropriate

Project Work

  • Supporting project management for Cause4’s key corporate clients such as Santander
  • Working with the core project team to take on a personal portfolio of client work to meet targets
  • Managing Customer Service relationships and external bookings for Cause4’s third floor training space

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage projects to completion and to deliver to deadlines;
  • Committed to informal and formal ongoing professional development and welcoming of a ‘feedback’ culture;
  • Highly motivated with a strong interest in and at least a basic understanding of the charity sector, fundraising and philanthropy in a fast changing world;
  • Excellent, straight forward communication skills and highly literate; able to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy;
  • Sensitive and in tune with clients’ needs; able to think strategically about digital strategy;
  • Ability to switch between different roles and tasks;
  • Highly IT literate, familiar with modern technology concepts and aware of trends particularly in regards to digital fundraising;
  • Experience of using and developing web platforms, technologies and tools;
  • Experience of graphic design and image manipulation for print and web;
  • Excellent eye for detail and analytical approach;
  • Exceptional approach to customer service and support.

Desired:

  • Experience of having either used or developed one of the leading CRM systems;
  • Experience of data analysis, manipulation and reporting;
  • Familiar with data analysis tools and platforms.
