Job title: Content Producer

Job purpose
As a key member of the PS2 Communications Hub, deliver excellent content in support of the department’s communications strategies and plans.
Principal accountabilities:
Digital Content Strategy (30%)
- In collaboration with the PS2 Communications Manager and Sightsavers’ Content Strategist, identify and plan PS2 digital content requirements.
- Provide operational support for the delivery of PS2 digital strategies and plans.
- Day-to-day management and development of PS2 pages on the main website; and other digital platforms, products and services. Write, edit, proof, create and manage PS2 website copy and other digital channels and products when required.
- Represent PS2 in the delivery of organisation-wide large scale digital products.
- Provide the creative driver for digital communications activities and products in PS2 – turning content requirements into engaging communications piece(s) that meet the requirements of the organisation.
- Work with the Content Strategist more broadly to plan how programme information and content flowing into the organisation will be developed into digital communications content.
Creative content generation and production(70%)
- Develop concepts for multi-media content products and engagement opportunities that will meet the needs of PS2 and the wider organisation in innovative and effective ways.
- In collaboration with other digital functions across the organisation ensure all digital content is monitored and evaluated and adjusted accordingly (including Search Engine Optimisation and meta data) – including working to ensure an effective and consistent reporting process.
- Develop user journeys, wireframes, specifications, storyboards or other resources to guide the development of content products.
- Work with internal and external production resource (design, video editing, developers) to develop creative communications content
- Working with the Campaigns team (PS2) support the implementation of the supporter engagement strategies (UK and Ireland) developingthe digital user journeys based on audience insights and historical data.

- Experience of using digital tools and systems Including:
- Content Management Systems (open-source desirable)
- Email delivery systems and Customer R Management (CRM)
- Adobe Photoshop or image manipulation software
- Video editing (desirable)
- Proven track record of developing creative solutions and engaging content
- Experience and knowledge of all current multi-media platforms (Facebook; Twitter; Snapchat; Instagram etc.)
- Writing and editing for digital media
- Project planning and management skills, including timelines and budgets
- Proofreading skills
- Experience of managing agencies and external providers to provide content and digital products.
