The Governing Body seek to appoint to the following post at Hill Top School – Autism Base:
Hill Top School is a secondary special school, it provides education for pupils with moderate learning difficulties aged 11-19 and with the autism centre a range of pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder.
The Governors of Dryden and Hill Top Learning Federation seek to appoint a vibrant, enthusiastic and successful teacher to join our well established, experienced, supportive and dedicated staff team. You will have responsibility for a class within our autism base. As with all posts in school, you must have the flexibility to work anywhere in the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking Federation.We are looking for:
· An excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to meeting the needs of young people with severe autism and associated learning difficulties and deliver a full range of subjects to these pupils.
· A teacher that can rise to challenges and has a calm, creative and flexible approach to their practice.
Applicants would benefit from experience of and/or have a genuine interest in working with young people who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
