Job Title: Admin Assistant

Based: Parent Network Scotland

Reports to: Project Co-ordinator and work closely with PNS administrator

Hours: 21 hours per week plus 28 days annual leave, plus 10 public holidays (pro-rata)

Salary: £20,415 pro rata

Pension: Up to 5% employer contribution if matched by employee.

To support the Parent Network Scotland office ensuring administrative and financial procedures are effectively carried out.

Key responsibilities:

·  inputting of all participant data into database systems;

·  providing support in all aspects of project administration;

·  assisting with organisation of courses, publicity and delivery;

·  general photocopying /filing as required;

·  assisting with preparation for courses/meetings;

·  organising room bookings and equipment, arranging catering;

·  Preparation of course materials and paperwork, administer course paperwork and entered course information onto database;

·  Manage incoming office communications: telephone, e-mail and post;

·  Manage / co-ordinate outgoing office communications;

·  Co-ordinate and administer events as required i.e. booking rooms, registers, arranging catering;

·  Ensuring stock levels of stationary, photocopier supplies are adequate and ordering where necessary;

·  Undertake other reasonable duties, from time to time, in order to ensure efficient operation of the organisation.

Essential Skills:

·  Experience in Business Administration or equivalent qualification/work experience

·  Experience and understanding of financial procedures

·  Excellent IT skills

·  Good organiser, ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure both alone and as part of a team

·  Good communicator with friendly manner

Desirable Skills:
