Promotion Plans:

This is posted on the website for those companies that like to have some visual about the team, and for those companies that come to us before we contact them:

Navigators Baseball is baseball at its best. The Navigators showcase young, collegiate student/athletes pursuing their dream of playing professional baseball, and chasing the dream of one day becoming MLB players!

More than baseball, an evening at the ballpark is affordable family entertainment. Contests give fans an opportunity to compete for prizes on the field, giveaways give fans souvenirs to cherish for a lifetime, with music, promotions and top-notch customer service helping make every game an event to remember. And all of it in a safe, family-friendly environment and at very affordable prices.

This environment makes Navigators baseball an efficient and effective marketing vehicle. You have an opportunity to reach a very loyal and receptive captive audience, one that will translate its passion and enjoyment at the ballpark to you, our sponsor. You will generate an emotional attachment to fans in the Lynn community and throughout the North Shore through Navs baseball.

For more information on sponsorship opportunities with the Navigators, please call 978.420.7028 or email GM Peter Delani at

Other ways we try to promote out team is to bring Chomps the mascot to different baseball camps the players work at. We also brought Chomps to Lynn City Hall to promote Mayor’s night.

Marketing plans- call and talk to managers about getting sponsorships

At high school games at Frasier Field, schedules and tickets were handed out to fans at those games.

Facebook, Twitter, and other social media websites are ways to promote our team.

Evaluating Goal, Personal Performance, and client Satisfaction:

a. Goal: In upper level management we set goals for various areas:

Player Development

Coaching Staff

Baseball Operations Staff

Community/Stadium Relations

Media Operations

Ticket Sales

Sponsorships

We evaluated whether or not we met those benchmarks if we were successful or not.

b. Personal Performance:

For interns we deferred to the evaluation tools that the colleges had in place. For Coaches and others we had a series of characteristics/qualities we look for expected.

c. Client Satisfaction:

This is ongoing....needs to be more structured....
