Purpose/Overall Objective:

The Member Specialist/CE Admin Assistant will support the ministry of CMDA by providing excellent customer service and data entry for the Member Services Department. He/She will join forces with other individuals within the department to accomplish the goals of membership processing, updating and maintaining accurate member data and serving as a resource for our members. This individual will embrace the mission and vision of CMDA; be detail oriented; demonstrate adequate computer skills appropriate to the position. This position is primarily responsible for membership data entry and customer care.

Membership Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Input and process new member applications daily with100% accuracy
  • Updatecontact information in iMIS (address changes, email addresses, etc.)immediately or within 48business hours of receipt of manual data with 100% accuracy
  • Prepareand process new member welcome kits with 100% accuracy weekly
  • Process memberprospect inquiries, mailings, and answer questions regarding membership in CMDA as needed
  • Ensure that all promotional membership materials havethe most up-to-date information and is 100% accurate
  • Prepares member invoices with 100% accuracy
  • Process lifetime member packets within 24 business hours of receipt.

Continuing Education Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the CMDA CE Department and leadership staffas coordinator and assistant
  • Organizes files and processes supportive documentation for CE electronic and hard copy records for each CE Activity
  • Monitors documentation and communicates updates/progress to CE Director
  • Assists Accreditation Officer as needed
  • Answers CE inquiries from members, CMDA departments, or other organizations
  • Assures the most up to date language is used in all CE materials before distributing
  • Keeps reporting documentation current
  • Sets up surveys, evaluations, and required forms for each activity
  • Prepares invoices/transfer memos as needed

General Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Print and process resource orders for Life & Health Resources as needed
  • Embossing upon request.
  • Answer general organizational calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates excellence in performing clerical duties and organizational capacity
  • Monitor and coordinate efforts for the Member Prayer Card Ministry weekly
  • Covers front desk duties on a rotating basis and as needed
  • Willingly assists other employees and supervisors as requested or needed in performing responsibilities in accordance with organizational standards
  • Displays a continuing interest and initiative in all job assignments
  • Performs other duties as assigned and directed to the satisfaction of the supervisor
