PURPOSE OF JOB
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES (the main end results the role is expected to achieve)
·  To provide maintenance service within the Doncaster Factory, covering all aspects of mechanical repair and preventative work to achieve optimum efficiency, safety of plant, equipment and services
CONTEXT

·  Working at Doncaster as part of a team
·  Have an up to date understanding of compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation
·  Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and use own initiative
·  All personnel across the Doncaster Manufacturing facility
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Carrying out any mechanical works as required by the company.
·  Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation with regard to machine control and safety protective systems of new & existing plant.
·  Route Cause analysis on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
·  Providing maintenance support to production personnel, as required.
·  Providing maintenance support to Production Engineers with projects.
·  To actively support all factory improvement projects from mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic perspective.
·  Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of this position.
·  Accepts responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and others.
·  Understands and follows Company safety, health & environmental and any other Company policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (needed for satisfactory performance of the job)
·  An up to date understanding of all relevant legislative requirements and latest appropriate standards to achieve compliance.
·  A wide range of experience and knowledge of the maintenance & installation of plant, equipment and associated systems mechanically Computer literate.
·  Working at Height regulations
·  Excellent communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
·  Time served apprentice (essential)
·  Relevant Mechanical qualification and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic
·  Lifting and slinging /crane operation
·  Has had exposure to an engineering environment
