Position Title: Pastor

Reports to: Board Members of the Albion Evangelical Free Church

Reporting to Pastor: All ministerial and support staff/church members of the Albion Evangelical Free Church

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1.  The pastor must be a man who is called by God and set apart for gospel ministry and committed to living by the Holy Bible. The pastor must be outgoing by nature, be a godly leader, and compassionate for the needs of others.

2.  The pastor is responsible to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach biblical revelation and to engage in missions.

3.  The pastor will be called to lead the church through the Holy Spirit by engaging with Albion Evangelical Free Church in worship, ministry, and community. The pastor is required to reach all age groups in the community.

4.  The pastor will be responsible for planning the sermons on Sunday mornings and equip staff/church members with Bible based sermons/teaching on 80% of the Sundays each year.

5.  The pastor and congregation will oversee missions and pastoral care efforts including biblical-based counseling.

6.  If the pastor is married, it is required that he is married by the law of the Holy Bible between one man and one woman. The pastor’s wife is required to participate in the Albion Evangelical Free Church community as a godly leader for support of the needs of others.

7.  Pastor will be offered up to a $1,000 monthly stipend which will be re-evaluated after one year of service. You will have the church’s blessing for a second job to provide for your financial needs. We are working with another mission to help complete your support also.

8.  The pastor must comply with Albion Evangelical Free Church congregational rule.
