PROJECTS:

Quality Improvement Project:

This project involves improving the patient experience and ensuring safe discharge. We collect baseline data by surveying the patients and do the analysis of this data. The new data is collected every 2 weeks and compared with the baseline data to find out the area where the patient’s satisfaction can be improved.

Integrated Nurse Leadership Program:

This project was to ensure Patient Safety by implementing medication error reduction plan on evidence-based practice. This included conducting audits, chart reviews, working collaboration with pharmacy and other disciplinary team. This program was published in Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations in December 2009. The link is below.

Clinical Preceptor:

Training new staff nurse, nursing students, new graduates to meet and achieve the goal by maintaining safety using evidence based practice and policies.

Education/Training:

Providing skills and procedures in medical surgical training program. Being a super user in educating staff and other providers for new changes in environment, equipment, policies, procedure.
