Book title: Shopaholic Ties The Knot

Author: Sophie Kinsella

Shopaholic Ties the Knot is one of the books in the Shopaholic series written by Sophie Kinsella. All the books of the Shopaholic series are about the main character-- Rebecca Bloomwood. In the previous series, Becky was a shopaholic who was addicted to do shopping, she always messed things up and was very careless. In this book, the situation of Becky was improved a bit, she was not as addicted to shopping as before. However, she was still a troublesome girl and couldn't really deal with things well.

In the book, Becky had a boy friend called Luke. One day, Luke proposed to Becky and Becky was really surprised and delighted, she accepted Luke immediately. Becky's overjoyed mother wanted to plan the whole wedding for Becky by herself in England, But the problem was, Luke's mother had also planned a wedding for Becky. She employed a wedding planner called Robyn to plan a spectacular wedding in the Plaza Hotel of New York. Becky was fond of both weddings and could not decide which one to be chosen. As time passed shortly, the wedding was coming very soon. Becky discovered that family was more important than the stunning decorations in the Plaza Hotel, so she wanted to cancel the wedding in New York. However, the contract signed by Becky and Robyn had listed that if Becky cancelled the wedding, she had to pay a huge amount of money that she could never afford.

At last, Becky came up with a brilliant idea. She decided to attend both of the weddings so that she would not disappoint anyone. After attending the wedding in New York, Beck secretly escaped from the hotel and flew to England to attend another wedding. The story ended blissfully and Becky had a wonderful marriage with Luke.

Although the ending of the story might not really happen in real life, I still love this book very much. This is because I think the author was very humorous. She used simple language and I can understand the content easily. Moreover, the author described the struggles of Becky's in detail when she had to choose between the weddings. I felt like I was really Rebecca Bloomwood when reading the book. The language used in the book was interesting and it is surely a great relaxation for us when facing loads of tests and the enormous academic pressure.

The other reason I love this book is because I think I am somehow quite similar to Becky. I am always very careless and seldom do things well. I often feel depressed with my inability, but after reading this book, I have found out that courage is the most important thing for us to solve different problems. In the book, Becky faced many difficulties and challenges, but by taking out her courage, she could finally come up with solutions to solve the problems. I think I should learn from Becky and be brave to solve the problems on my studies and throughout my life.

To sum up, I think this book has taught me an important message that things always seem impossible until you have overcome them. I love this book so much since it is funny and taught me to face difficulties bravely. Hope you also love this book!
