- Open access chest pain clinics. Patients referred by GPs or following attendance at Emergency Department. Assess, diagnose, arrange investigations, report and onward management plan.
- Cardiology pre-operative assessment clinics
- Support in heart failure patient management, especially around devices, end-of-life and medicines optimisation

- 2011 to current - Nurse Practitioners to replace junior doctors in cardiac surgery
- 2014-2015 – expansion of heart failure team to provide out-reach service across whole Trust
