Board Meeting Minutes
September 22, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Attendees: Bruce Larson, Guy Schuster, Jim Hunter, Ann Riemersma, Warren Kokes, and Jeanne Benick
Tryouts/Teams: Most girls checked the website for tryout listings as opposed to coming to the JAC. There were 75 hits on Saturday. Tryouts went very well. 5th Grade (9 girls), 6th Grade (9 girls), 7th Grade A (9), B (9), 8th grade A (8) and B (8).
Last Month Meeting Minutes: Meeting meetings from August 16, 2007 were presented. Jim moved to approve the minutes and the motion was seconded by Ann. No nays. The motion passed.
Treasurers Report: See attached. The association made $600.00 in camps more than last year. JGTBA tournament is full. Will need to give a few refunds. Third camp and evaluation expenses have not been recorded yet. Warren paid $474.00 for Teams liability insurance and $625.00 for Directors insurance. Refunds for the 6C tournaments will be coming back. Ann motioned to approve treasurer’s report, Bruce seconded the motion. Motion passed. We need a tax exempt number!
Uniform Order Status: Cost of uniforms - $55.95 before putting Jaguar on shorts. Motion to approve made by Ann and Bruce seconded. No nays. Motion passed. Uniforms have been ordered and will be six weeks until delivery – last week in October. Ann to check availability of lunchroom for Star Photography and the exact date the uniforms would be in so we can set up uniform/picture night. Jeanne will set up spreadsheet of team members and uniform numbers. Ann to give Jeanne the uniform numbers. Eighth grade will go first.
Practice Schedule: Practice schedule is now posted on website. Some practices will be at Ridgeview this year. Ann has scheduled same nights for grades – either M,R or T, R.
Tournament Update: Guy to follow up on checks and registrations. The tournament is now full. Some teams need to send checks – Kennedy, Lakview North and Eden Prairie.
Website: Teams were posted and posted right! Way to go Bruce! Bruce said website has been causing some trouble. Glenn Riemersma already has been working on the website to set up team site. He loves it!
Equipment Bags for Coaches: Jim to get first aid kits, ice packs, pumps, etc. Jim to ask if he could set up an account at Dick’s or somewhere. Ann to give Jim coupons for equipment bags for coaches. Also need to get new balls for new members! Fifth grade (9), 6th (1), 7th (5) and 8th (1). Need to review those numbers.
By Laws: Everyone to review Jefferson boys, Eden Prairie, and Chaska’s by laws guidelines - bring input for next meeting. Jeanne to check into program to write own bylaws – how much, etc.
Walk on items: Nacho machine is missing. Jim left it for Barb Johnson and does not have a phone number to contact to ask where it is. Guy to check with Barb Schuster to see if she has phone number. No “B” coaches yet and no interest. Will research.
