Greetings from one and all the students, staff and all other inmates of Jeevan Gnanodaya and from my own self.
Please accept our profound gratitude for being our patron, well-wisher and guide and a pillar of strength and support to Jeevan Gnanodaya. May god shower on your kind self all the blessings of life.
Thanks to your kind gesture we have been able to MEET THE EXPENSES TOWARDS BUYING EDUCATIONAL ACCESSORIES AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESSENTIALS FOR THE STUDENTS’ throughout the academic year 2010 – 2011 which proved a great driving force for the students to study well with greater commitment, dedication and enthusiasm.
You were so kind to have positively responded to our appeal for the above-mentioned financial help for the last academic year(2010-2011) and I have already sent the receipt for the same to your scrutiny.
This year the I.T.I Results came in December and I am happy to inform you that our I.T.I Students have scored 100% results this year also! And, all those students who have completed their I.T.I Course have joined in factories in Chennai and Hosur.
Now we are busily preparing our 10th Std students for the fast approaching Public Exams. For the other classes also the exams are in this month(March 2011) itself and they are also preparing for the exams in right earnest.
I am happy to inform you that this academic year we are going to start +1 classes also to our School students in which the students have Commerce and Accounts as their optional groups of study.

And, this requires two more teachers having M.Com Degree to their credit to be appointed.
Moreover, this year we have to give an increase in teacher’s salaryAlso, we need more number of chairs, tables and other furniture and also educational accessories for our School.
JEEVAN – SPECIAL EDUCATION IN SIGN LANGUAGE:
My son Jeevan has applied for Special Teacher Training Course( Sign Language) last week and hope that he gets enrolled in the Course in the coming academic year. I have contacted the Dean of the College concerned, in Coimbatore regarding his admission. I have convinced my son regarding the need and significance to undergo this training and become a full-fledged Special Teacher and he has whole-heartedly agreed to my proposal. This is a One Year Diploma Course.
KALYAN MANDAP:
When we undertook this Project with the express purpose of safeguarding the interests of the inmates of Jeevan Gnanodaya, the poor rural children with Hearing Impairment whose very life depend on us, we were encouraged by all our patrons and well-wishers. We took this initiative to provide a stable and secure support system for our Institution to carry on with its Mission of rehabilitating more and more children with Hearing Impairment. The Project is in its crucial final stage. Yet, we had the inaugural ceremony last month itself, but, it would take at least three or four more months to rent out the Kalyana Mandap and it would take at least a year to repay most of the loans that we had to take for constructing this Kalyana Mandap and a few more months for us to start receiving some regular income from this venture. Hence, I humbly request ASHA AUSTINFriends to continue supporting us this year also.
Last year ASHA ATLANTA had come forward to bear half the expenses of feeding the children of Jeevan Gnanodaya throughout the year but this year ASHA ATLANTA has expressed their inability to bear the said ‘feeding’ expenses.
During our conversation over the phone I had informed you of this and requested you to come forward to provide funds for the FEEDING PROPOSAL. The construction of the Kalyan Mandap is yet to be over and hence the going proves rather difficult now. Hence, I hereby humbly forward the FEEDING PROPOSAL to ASHA AUSTIN with the request to come forward to help us feed our children this academic year and so enable us to serve the cause of the Hearing Impaired in the best manner possible.
I have already forwarded all the relevant details of our Income and Expenditure duly audited by our School Auditor and I am submitting our Project-Proposal for Feeding the children of Jeevan Gnanodaya for this academic year (2011 – 2012) now.
As things stand today, we are struggling to make both ends meet but with grit and determination we keep marching ahead.
We look forward to your continued support this year also for the effective functioning of our School and for serving the cause of the Hearing Impaired children.
