Objectives:
· Use the internet and various other sources to research ideas.
· Draw or trace their chosen ideas onto a ceiling tile
· Mix paint to create desired colors
· Demonstrate painting techniques such as blending
· Demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship
· Complete two ceiling tiles with a unified theme
· Draw / sketch and color a design for a mural that considers placement and interest of the person whose area is getting a mural.
· Trace the line design for their mural on a piece of acetate with a sharpie
· Use a projector to project their line design onto the area chosen for their mural and transfer their design to the wall by means of a pencil.
· Mix paint to create desired colors
· Demonstrate painting techniques such as blending
· Demonstrate how to properly clean up and maintain their work area.
· Demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship
· Complete a mural in a timely manner (before semester change)
