Sealed quotations are invited under the two-bid system separately for technical and financial bids for the Supply of Rocker, which are required for my research laboratory, School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067. The sealed envelopes should be super scribed Technical/Financial Bids for Rocker.
The quotation should reach this office on or before. 16.08.2016 at 12.30 PM duly sealed and marked above Ref. No due for opening on 16.08.2016 at 3.00 PM.
Quotations should be on Company letterheads, with each page signed with stamp. The rates in Indian currency must be quoted and should remain valid for period of 90 days for acceptance of supplies. The university reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason. (Annexure – I) should be attached with the quotation, with the remarks of meeting/ not meeting the required specification with quoted price.
The sealed quotations should be sent by the registered post or by courier. Quotations by other means will be not be entertained.
The Envelops must be marked with “Tender No., date and item name”.
Each tenderer must submit EMD of 3-5% of cost of equipment by Demand Draft in favour of “The Finance Officer, JNU”. The EMD would be returned to unsuccessful tenderer within 2 weeks of finalization of order.
Following details may be given at the time of submitting the quotations:
1. Name of the article / purchase
2. Price quoted should be net F.O.R. Jawaharlal Nehru University
3. The period within which the goods can be supplied should be specified
4. List of clients with address and Tel. be sent together with the quotation.
5. Copy of PAN No. / WCT No/ST No. be enclosed.
6. Warranty of the item and service charges and taxes to be mentioned separately.
7. Letter of the Company for being authorized agent of the item.
The rates quoted will remain valid for a period of 90 days from its acceptance and supplies will have to be made at the quoted rates.
To guarantee satisfactory performance of the contract within the stipulated period which will be refunded after the supply is made completely and satisfactorily.
In case where the suppliers fail to supply the stores within the stipulated time, compensation shall be recovered at the rate of 1% of the amount of the order for every week’s delay (subject to a maximum of 10% of the cost of supplies) or the difference in price for the items purchased from other sources shall be recovered from suppliers out of their earnest money.
The quotation will be opened on 16.08.2016 at 3.00 PM in the presence of the tenderers present. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotations without assigning any reason. Quotations should reach the undersigned by 16.08.2016 at 12.30 PM..
