Note: Cathy Stone-Carlson will participate in the board meeting via teleconference from Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel, 2464 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815 (808) 923-1571. This residence shall be considered a meeting place on this date and prescribed time and is open to the public.

Regarding Public Comment:

At regular Board meetings, members of the audience are welcome to address the Board on items not listed on this agenda when “Items from the Public” is announced by the chair. Trustees may ask questions but the Board cannot take action. Members of the audience will also be provided with the opportunity to comment during the Board’s consideration of each agenda item.

Individual speakers will be allowed three minutes to address the Board, and the Board shall limit the total time for public input on each agenda item to 20 minutes. In order that proper attention may be given to each item on the agenda, the chair may on occasion find it necessary to limit time allotted for comment. These proceedings may be recorded.

5.2 Memorandum of Understanding between Columbia Union School District and Jamestown School District

The Board will take action on a Memorandum of Understanding between Columbia Union School District and Jamestown School District for Music Services for the 2014-2015 school year.

5.3 Contract for District Auditor 2013-2014

The Board will take action on the Superintendent’s recommendation to approve a contract with Kemper CPA Group to conduct the district’s annual audit for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. The cost of the proposed audit will not exceed $18,500.

5.5 Technology Plan

The Board will review and consider approving a Technology Plan for the Jamestown School District for 2014-2017.

5.6 Jamestown Teachers Association Contract

The Board will consider ratifying a tentative agreement between Jamestown Teachers Association and the Jamestown School District which will conclude negotiations for the 2013-2014 school year.
