Curriculum Development

Establishment of ALI online courses/program for pre-arrival English language support for incoming matriculated international students and international students participating in USC’s online and distance master’s programs (“USCNow”). / 2012-2013
Created 1 unit versions of ALI “core” courses so that master’s students with remaining ALI course requirements could complete those requirementswhile remaining in compliance with the university’s newly implemented English language policies in which master’s students could not be required to personally pay for more than 4 units of English language support courses. / 2012-2013
Created and facilitated faculty applied research teams (e.g. testing, writing, international teaching assistant (ITA)) aimed at curricular and faculty development. / 2009-2010
Spearheaded and oversaw revision of ALI departmental curricula and course sequencingso as to allow more individualized placement of international students needing supplemental English language support for academic and professional success. / 2008-2009
