IVRS Employment Proposal to business

In closely reviewing the requirements of the job, IVRS proposes the following plan:

Customized employment (identify impact of workflow, how this will meet business needs and save them money, document what this looks like).

IVRS is recommending customized employment as a way to save money and time- customized employment offers you the opportunity to target specific areas of your business operations by focusing on tasks rather than job titles and job openings. In this way, you can augment the typical way you hire with this strategy that focuses on your needs the job seekers unique skills.

Customized employment utilizes voluntary negation of a tailored job description to create an employee relationship that benefits you and your employee. It does not replace typical hiring procedures; rather it allows you to pinpoint areas that you would like to address.

We have assisted you in identifying areas of need in your business. IVRS staff will explain how our job seeker might meet your needs through a customized job description.

We found the following in your business:

  1. Unmet needs- tasks that need to get done but are not being completed timely
  2. Cost savings- tasks that are currently bundled in a job description of a higher paid employee that could be performed by someone at a lower rate
  3. Improvement- Tasks that can help your employees and your business operate more effeciantly

While evaluating the job of a barista, we have found ways to improve flow of work and better serve customers. During your early morning shift 7-9, the flow of customers is extreme leaving the dining area unattended and customers waiting upwards of 10 minutes for their product.

UNMET NEED / COST TO BUSINESS / SOLUTION
Wipe tables off during busy times so clerks can keep up with demands. / $101.50 a week to hire a person to come in 2 hours a day / 7 days a week from 7-9 during busy time to ensure unmet tasks are being completed and customers are served more quickly. The happier customers are; the more likely they are to come back / We have a young woman who has 10 years working the kitchen at a workshop. Her duties are to clean and sanitize tables, she has experience filling condiments, is fun and pleasant and customers love her. She also can maintain cleanliness of the restroom and garbage while bringing coffee to customers while they are seated at a table versus calling their name and having them come up and get the order. She has the skills to weigh and bag coffee beans if needed as well
Clean tables and chairs by sanitizing between customers, straightening newspapers and throwing trash away
Stock customer service station with sugar, creamer, sweeteners, straws etc.
Monitor garbage cans and take out when full
Deliver items to customers
Weigh and bag roasted & ground coffee beans
