22 JUL DAY 1 BOGOTA |D

Upon arrival welcome by our local guide and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner that includes appetizer, main entrance and one drink.

23 JUL DAY 2 BOGOTA|B

This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts at the Plaza de Bolívar (the city’s main square) and government buildings situated around it and continues in the old colonial part of the city better known as “La Candelaria”, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays) and the Emerald Museum. Thereafter we seek higher grounds by taking a funicular railway or cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill offering a spectacular view of the city The tour finishes in the north of Bogota in Usaquena small colonial village, now surrounded by the city. After a nice day we will have dinner.

On time required transfer to the airport and departure flight to Leticia. Welcome from our guide and transfer to hotel.

Visit to natural reserve Marasha where we will have lunch.

31JUL DAY 10 LETICIA |B, L

After breakfast, learn about the history of the monkeys on the island and the different species found there while the native Indian ecological guide instructs you about their behavior, social organization and feeding habits.Travel through the river from Leticia to the imaginary point of three borders Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Dinner at hotel.

After breakfast visit to reptile park. Lunch at the hotel and afternoon flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.

02 AUG DAY 12 CARTAGENA|B

This fascinating halfday tour starts with the visit of the most representative monuments of Cartagena starting at the Convent of La Popa (highest point of the city). It continues to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history and mysteries hidden in its stone-walled tunnels, leaving the castle we visit the monument of ZapatosViejos, the “Old Shoes”. The most impressive definitely is the huge defensive wall that surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture. During the rest of the visit you will see the cities churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores. This combination makes Cartagena deserving the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site as you will never forget this wonderful destination. Duration: 4 hours approximately.
